My Story

My name is Leslie Ledoux, and I believe every person has the ability to learn when given the opportunity, the right environment, and the right tools.

My journey into education began with my youngest daughter, Tami. As a bright and loving child, she struggled to recognize letters, learn sounds, and read despite working harder than anyone else. Year after year, I was told she was simply "too young" or "immature" and that she would eventually catch up. Instead, I watched her confidence disappear as she began believing she was "stupid" because she couldn't learn like her classmates.

Determined to find answers, I began researching dyslexia and learning differences. That search not only changed my daughter's life—it changed mine. It ignited a passion to understand how people learn and why some minds process information differently.

Over the past twenty years, my own journey of understanding autism, combined with my experiences as a mother, educator, and special education teacher, led me to create Mind & Mold Studio. Today, my mission is to help children and adults discover that every learner is capable of success when given the right tools, the right concepts, and the opportunity to learn in a way that works for them.

My mission is simple:

To help others turn on the light of learning and discover that they are capable of far more than they ever imagined.

Today I continue teaching, writing, and expanding Mind & Mold Studio so that families, educators, and students everywhere can benefit from the tools and the step by step program that have changed my own life.

As my daddy used to tell me when I was growing up, "You're like a caterpillar. Someday when you feel safe enough, you'll come out of your cocoon, and no one will be able to catch you." It took many years before I understood what he meant. Today, my greatest joy is helping others discover the wings they already possess.
